These cover buying and using Coursecast. They are written to be read, not survived. If anything here is unclear, write to support@startupwithshashank.com before you pay, not after — we would rather answer the question than argue about it later.
The short version
One payment of ₹499, inclusive of all taxes, for 16 recorded video modules that are yours for good. No refunds once your access works — the one exception is if it never arrives. There is no certificate and no job promise, and we say so here rather than in a footnote.

Who can buy
You need to be 18 or older and able to enter a contract. If you are younger, a parent or guardian has to buy it and it is their purchase. The details you give at checkout have to be your own and have to be right — access is issued against them, and we cannot deliver to a number you mistyped.
What you are buying
Access to 16 pre-recorded video modules on communication skills, hosted on the LMS. The course is recorded and complete: there is no batch, no schedule and nothing to wait for.
It does not include live sessions, one-to-one coaching, feedback on your work, a certificate, or any placement or job support. If any of those is what you need, this is not it, and you should not pay.
Price and payment
₹499, inclusive of all taxes. Nothing is added at any point, so ₹499 is the entire amount you transfer. It is a single charge — there is no subscription, no renewal and nothing recurring.
Payment is taken at the course platform's own checkout, not on this site. The name, email and mobile number you enter there are what your access is issued against. A tax invoice is sent to that email.
Any price shown as struck through is the standard price this course sells at outside a promotion. Buying at a promotional price does not entitle you to a later or different one.
If the payment fails or is charged twice
A failed payment takes nothing from you, though your bank may show a temporary hold that clears on its own, usually within five to seven working days. Do not pay again until you have checked — write to us and we will tell you what we can see at our end.
If you are charged twice for the same access, tell us and we refund the duplicate in full. That is not the same as a change of mind, and it is not covered by the no-refunds rule below.
If you raise a chargeback with your bank instead of writing to us, access is suspended while the bank decides. We would much rather you emailed first; it is faster and it usually ends with you keeping the course.
Getting in
Access is issued immediately on payment. You log in with a one-time code sent to the mobile number you registered, so there is no password to set or lose.
Use an email address and a mobile number you actually check: delivery to the details you gave is delivery. If nothing arrives, the refund policy sets out exactly what happens next, with a deadline on us rather than on you.
Your account is yours alone
Keep your login to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under it, and if you think someone else has it, tell us and we will change it.
Sharing a login is the one thing that ends access without a refund, and it is enforced rather than merely stated — a single account signing in from many places at once is visible from our side.
Lifetime access, and what bounds it
“Lifetime” means no expiry date and no renewal to pay. Any later update to this course is included at no extra cost.
It is bounded by the practical life of the course. If it is ever permanently withdrawn, you get at least 60 days' notice and the chance to download the material for your own use. It is not bounded by the hosting platform: if we move to a different one, your access moves with it.
What you may and may not do with it
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to watch the course and use what you learn, including at work and in your own business. Everything in it — the videos, the wording, the structure — stays ours.
You may not share your login, record or download and redistribute, re-upload it anywhere, resell it, or use the material to teach a course of your own. Doing any of that ends your access without a refund, and re-uploading a paid course is a copyright matter as well as a contractual one.
Refunds
Purchases are non-refundable once your access is working. This is a digital course delivered in full on day one; there is nothing to return, and you have seen everything you paid for.
There is one exception, for non-delivery, and it is set out in full on the refund policy page. A duplicate charge is refunded as described above.
What this course does not promise
This is education, not a guaranteed outcome. Nothing here promises a job, a promotion, a raise, a referral, or any specific result. What you get out of it depends on what you practise.
Any example or story in the course describes what happened to one person in one situation. It is an illustration, not a prediction about you.
The platform it runs on
The course is hosted by a third-party learning platform, and the checkout is theirs too. Their availability is not something we control. We will not pretend otherwise: if they are down, the course is briefly unreachable, and we will get it back or move it.
Extended downtime does not shorten your lifetime access. It pauses it.
If something goes wrong
We are liable for delivering what you paid for. If we cannot, you get your money back — that is the remedy, and the refund policy describes it.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising out of this purchase is limited to what you paid, ₹499. We are not liable for indirect losses — lost income, lost opportunities, or a decision you made after watching a video.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under Indian law. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 are not affected by anything on this page.
Things outside anyone's control
Neither of us is in breach for a delay caused by something genuinely outside our control — an outage at the hosting platform or the payment processor, a network failure, a natural event, or a change in the law. If such a thing prevents delivery altogether, you get a full refund.
Ending it
You can stop using the course whenever you like; that is not a refund. We can end access only for the reasons named on this page — sharing a login, redistributing the material, a chargeback, or a payment that never cleared — and we will tell you why in writing.
Complaints, and who to send them to
If something is wrong, write to a person rather than a form.

Your details
What we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to make it stop is in the privacy notice. Short version: nothing is sold, nothing is shared for anyone else's advertising, and typing is never recorded.
Changes to these terms
If these change, the change applies to purchases made after it. It does not retroactively alter what you already bought — the terms you agreed to are the ones on this page on the day you paid, and the date at the top is how you tell.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction, which follows the registration above.
In force from 5 September 2026. Questions before you buy: support@startupwithshashank.com.
